Shinkansen Tickets Reservation

During busy season, we suggest that guests reserve Shinkansen Tickets in advance, or at least for their return trip, prior to arrival in Nozawa Onsen. We have 3 options that should suit most guests to our village.

■Pre-Booking Online:

Online ticket reservations can be made up to one month in advance, and no later than three days prior to departure, however they can only be collected from specific JR ticket offices. Please note, Iiyama station is not included in this list. Please see below for a partial list that may be relevant to most travelers.:

• ・Tokyo Station
• ・Shinjuku Station

■Pre-Booking at the JR Shinkansen Ticket Office :

Purchasing your return trip when you purchase your ticket to IIyama is a good idea and probably the easiest option. This can be done up to a month prior to the return trip.

■During your stay:

Unfortunately, there is no ticket counter in Nozawa Onsen Village. Reservations for your Shinkansen and JR tickets can however be made at the local JR station, Iiyama. This is a 25 minute bus ride.
