Nozawa Onsen Ski resort
Extending to the peak of the 1,650 m Mt. Kenashiyama, Nozawa Onsen ski resort boasts 297 hectares of ski slopes and over 40km of groomed runs. It is ranked as one of Japan’s top ski resorts in terms of total area, history, and snow depth.
The slopes are connected to the village by a moving walkway called the “Yu-road,” and the mountain has as a total of 21 lifts including two gondolas. With 36 ski courses, a kids’ park, a snow park, and half-pipe, the mountain has terrain for all levels.

Directions to Ski Slopes
Access to the ski slopes is a short three minute walk to the base of the ‘Yu-Road’ moving pathway. This will take you directly to the Hikage slopes and lifts. Turn left at the front of Kiriya and right at the hot springs. You will see the path to the Yu-Road above you.
Drying Room
Kiriya has a large drying room and storage facilities with external access to the building.
